“I was searching without knowing what I was searching for,” Jean says. “I didn’t have a centre, but I found myself when I founded L’Arche. I didn’t have an answer to all the technical questions about the future of this small community. But,” he adds, “not knowing has allowed me to take the risks to continue.”
